The Two Queen Beds room is described as spacious and bright, with two deluxe pillow-top queen beds, a small fridge, a work station and a 55-inch television. At 393 square feet it is the largest of the regular rooms after the barrier-free version, and it takes up to five guests, which makes it the natural choice for a family.
Families have more to do here than the building suggests at first. In summer the Adventure Desk offers Indigenous games and a mini tipi set-up at $15 per person, a canoe trip on the river for groups of four or more, and eBike rentals; the Cosmic Dome charges a lower price for children aged 16 and under. In winter there are kicksleds, snowshoes and the cross-country loop. The rooftop pool is open from early morning until 23:00. The resort's Family Staycation package pairs a night with a family pass for four to Wanuskewin Heritage Park, just outside Saskatoon.
The casino is connected to the resort building, and Saskatchewan's casino age is 19. Families with teenagers should plan their evenings around the restaurant, the dome and the pool rather than the entertainment next door; concert evenings at the casino may also be 19+, as the resort notes for its January 2027 show package.
Before booking
Breakfast is not included in a standard rate. The Rise and Dine package adds breakfast for two only, so a family of four or five will pay for the rest at the table.
